LEGAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Booking & Deposits

A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your filming date. Remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final video. By booking, the client agrees to these terms and confirms availability for the scheduled shoot. 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Client Cancellations: If the client cancels within a 72 hour period the deposit is non-refundable. If cancellations are made outside of this time frame, the client will receive a full refund. 

Rescheduling:

  • Clients may reschedule one time at no extra cost, if notice is provided at least 7 days prior and the new date is available.

  • Additional reschedules or rescheduling within 7 days of the shoot may require a new deposit.

Weather / Uncontrollable Circumstances:

  • If filming cannot proceed due to weather or unforeseen events, deposits may be transferred to a new agreed-upon date.

Videographer Cancellations:

  • If BayTreyFilms must cancel due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, the client will receive a full refund, or, if possible, a qualified replacement videographer may be recommended.

3. Delivery & Revisions

Standard Delivery: Each package offers it's own unique delivery time. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee. Packages include 1–2 revisions depending on the service; additional revisions are $50 each. Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction with artistic style; clients are encouraged to request revisions within the included limits.

4. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Clients receive full rights to share and post the final delivered videos. BayTreyFilms retains portfolio usage rights for marketing and promotion. Raw footage delivery is optional and may incur additional fees.

5. Liability

BayTreyFilms is not liable for circumstances beyond control (e.g., weather, venue restrictions, technical malfunctions). Clients are responsible for providing accurate event information and securing all required permissions for locations, participants, or music used.

6. Privacy Policy

BayTreyFilms respects your privacy. Any personal information provided (name, email, phone, project details, or files) is used solely to communicate, deliver services, and manage your booking. Information will never be sold or shared with third parties except when necessary for project delivery or legally required. You may request to update or delete your information at any time. By contacting or booking BayTreyFilms, you agree to this policy.

7. Payment Methods

BayTreyFilms accepts [insert payment methods: e.g., PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, credit cards]. All invoices are due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed.

8. Additional Terms

Clients are responsible for travel fees if shoots occur outside the standard service area. Any extra hours beyond the agreed-upon shoot length will incur additional fees. Clients are encouraged to provide references, shot lists, or creative direction to ensure their vision is captured.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State. Any disputes arising under these terms will first be addressed through good-faith communication. If necessary, disputes may be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in King County, WA.

10. Agreement Acknowledgment

By booking with BayTreyFilms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
